Hold the left and right pads to run and tap the paw button to jump. Tap the paw briefly for a small hop, hold it for a full jump. Land on a pest to stomp it, and land on the next one before you touch the ground to double your points.

If you have a hardware keyboard attached, the arrow keys or A and D run, space, up or W jumps, and B barks during a boss duel. The touch pads keep working alongside it.

Do not try to out-jump it. Stand your ground, face it, and let its charge get under way, then press BARK to trip it. Sidestepping so it slams into the arena wall works just as well. Once it is stunned, stomp its head. Backing away from the charge only resets the pattern.

With points earned by playing, for free. Scout costs 13,000, Nova 23,000, Pogo 34,000 and Rook 50,000. Each route credits up to 3,000 points, counted as your personal best for that route rather than per attempt, plus 10,000 for each region you fully clear.

If you would rather not wait, the optional one-time All Pals purchase in the pet shop unlocks all four straight away and leaves your points untouched.

All five dogs handle identically. They are cosmetic, so nothing gets easier or harder depending on who you pick.

Comet the Shiba is free to download, and Levels 1 and 2 are free to play. The rest of the journey, 28 more levels across three regions with three Warden duels and the hidden tunnels, is unlocked by one optional one-time Full Game purchase. The game offers it after you clear Level 2, when you pick a later level on the map, and from Settings.

No ads, no subscriptions, no energy timers and no currency you can buy. The only other purchase is the optional All Pals pack described above.

Purchases belong to your Apple Account, so they normally come back on their own after a reinstall or on another device signed in to the same account. If one does not, open Settings from the title screen and tap Restore on the Full game row, or tap Restore on any unlock offer, including the All Pals offer in the pet shop.

Both purchases also work with Family Sharing, so other members of your family group get them too. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Thank you, and you do not need to pay again. If you bought Comet the Shiba while it was a paid download (versions 1.0 to 1.2), the full game stays unlocked: the game recognises your original App Store purchase automatically.

If the later levels ever show as locked, for example on a new device, make sure you are signed in with the Apple Account you bought it with, then tap Restore on the Full game row in Settings. If it still looks locked, email me before buying anything. All Pals was never part of the paid version, so it is not included, but the dogs can still be earned with points as before.

No. The whole game plays offline. You only need a connection to buy or restore a purchase, and after that the unlock is remembered on your device. Game Center leaderboards and achievements are the only other online part, and they are optional, so the game plays exactly the same signed out.

Progress is stored on your device only, so it does not currently move between devices and it is removed if you delete the app. Game Center keeps its own record of your leaderboard score and achievements on Apple's side, and those come back when you sign in again. Purchases are tied to your Apple Account rather than the device, so they carry over too.

Open Settings from the title screen and choose Reset progress, then confirm. It erases your unlocked levels, completions, best score, points, the pals you bought with points and lifetime stats. It deliberately leaves your sound, music and haptics preferences alone, and it does not touch your purchases or Game Center's own records.

Scores only submit while you are signed in. Open the iOS Settings app, go to Game Center, and check you are signed in with the Apple Account you want to use. Then relaunch the game. If the game was offline when you finished a run, play another run once you are back online.

Yes. All three have their own switches in Settings on the title screen, and the music can also be toggled with the note button in the top corner of the title screen.

iPhone and iPad running iOS 17 or later. The game is landscape only, and the iPad version has its own layout rather than a stretched phone one.

Please tell me. Include your device, the level name shown in the top bar, and what happened. Anything reproducible gets fixed in the next update, and awkward level geometry is worth reporting too, since a lot of it has been retuned from player reports already.
